One Oregon marijuana initiative appears near to qualifying, another embroiled in labor fight

Why is it that the controversial "issuess' always get funded with "out of state money" and pay people to gather signatures? Could it be that We The People of Oregon Do Not Support These Measures? What do you think makes a State "Business Friendly"? One answer is the availability of a skilled, educated work force. Does legalizing marijuana and making it unable for employers to do a drug screen for marijuana help that cause? What do You think Portland?
There's divergent news from two different marijuana legalization campaigns in Oregon. New Approach Oregon, which has raised about $1 million from major out-of-state donors, said Monday that it has passed the 100,000-mark in signatures and is well on its way to qualifying for the November ballot.
