Our statewide elected officials cannot be leaders of just a few zip codes in Oregon. We need leadership that will serve ALL Oregonians, fairly and impartially, and with a willingness to engage in communities based on the issues that matter to them...even when we don't agree on the politics. We have to come together to as a state and as leaders if we're going to solve the real problems - like poor performing schools, a lagging economy, failures of state agencies like DHS, air quality issues in Portland, and yes, address the needs and concerns of those in the Eastern and Southern parts of the state. It's disappointing to see that in her State of the State, Governor Brown doesn't seem to feel the same way. Reposted from Dennis Richardson Candidate for Secretary of State.
