Oregon’s Health CO-OP would be dropping rates by 21% if OHP would Allow!!

One Oregon health plan will drop its rates for individuals by nearly 10 percent next year, a sizable amount. But if the chief executive had his way, Oregon’s Health CO-OP would be dropping rates twice that much. The CO-OP wanted to slash its individual rates by an average of 21 percent. But the Oregon Insurance Commission scaled back that request to 9.9 percent."This is really, really a surprise,” said President and CEO Ralph Prows."We’ve always been about finding every way we could to make health care more affordable.”
