The Oregonian Asks If I Could Pass One Bill In The 2015 Session What Is It?

If you could introduce one bill in the 2015 legislative session that would become law, what would it be and why should Oregonians support it? Repeal SB 100 passed in 1973. This would streamline industrial land use laws and restrict excessive regulations. Oregons Land Conservation and Developement Commission (LCDC) is an endless quagmire for Oregon cities, who simply can't jump through the hoops necessary to expand their Urban Growth Boundries (UGB). In the last decade efforts by five cities plus Metro to expand their UGB's have failed, having been rejected by either LCDC or the Oregon appellate courts. We need to remove these barriers to economic developement and job growth.
