Mayor Jeremy Ferguson, Congressman Kurt Schrader, Clackamas County Commissioner Jim Bernard and others will speak at the event, which begins at 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 6. Festivities will take place in front of City Hall, 10722 S.E. Main St., and coincide with First Friday events in downtown Milwaukie. 5 p.m.: Formal Celebration Ceremony, Featured Speakers and Guests: Mayor Jeremy Ferguson, Congressman Kurt Schrader, State Representative and Former Mayor Carolyn Tomei, County Commissioner and Former Mayor Jim Bernard.
