SALEM – Once again, Rep. Julie Parrish tried to get a bill passed that would dedicate an Oregon Lottery raffle, estimated to bring in $1.1 million, to help war veterans in the state. Instead, her bill has been wholly redrafted so that it now would allow a highway sign memorializing Warm Springs tribal members who were veterans.
